A’ALDA Pte. Ltd, (Singapore, CEO: Masamichi Okuda), an animal health tech company that hold “Pet to Partner – From member of family to member of society” as purpose aims to transform the health and lifestyle of pets as partners and realize the happiness of people and animals, is pleased to announce that Ms. Lei Jiang was newly appointed as CSO.
Joined A’alda in April 2023 as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) with prior experiences in investment banking of Credit Suisse and SMBC Nikko Securities.
Her investment banking career focused on sectors such as TMT (Technology, Media, and Telecommunications) and consumer & retail, providing advisory services related to M&As, and fundraisings including IPOs for both domestic and overseas clients.
Lei holds a Master of Science degree in Financial Economics from Oxford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Bocconi University.

I was leading a busy life in investment banking when, in 2018, I decided to bring home a kitten named “Mutsuki”. Mutsuki was an incredibly adorable little creature who brought light and joy into my life. However, after a few months, Mutsuki was diagnosed with feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) and crossed the rainbow bridge all too soon. Along with the sorrow of losing Mutsuki, I deeply felt the limitations of pet healthcare in Japan.
This experience ignited a strong desire within me to contribute to the advancement of pet healthcare. In 2023, I had the opportunity to join the amazing team at A’alda. I resonated with their purpose, “Pet to Partner,” and I felt compelled to contribute my efforts towards that purpose. My goal is to work towards the realization of a society where veterinary care in Japan and around the world further evolves, enabling animals to live as companions in a better world.
